Evgeny Raschevsky, a partner at EPAM presented on Arbitration Claims in Bankruptcy Proceedings at the Multilateral Arbitration and Parallel Proceedings international conference today, organised by the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce – the World Business Organization (ICC Russia), in collaboration with the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
St. Petersburg, June 21, 2010 – EPAM together with Hong Kong Stock Exchange today conducted a joint seminar on the Russian companies’ entry into Asian capital markets. The presentation was attended by Lawrence Fok, Executive Vice President and Head of HKEx Issuer Marketing Division, as well as Alexey Andrusenko and Vladimir Lobastov, lawyers from EPAM. The organizational support to the event was provided by St. Petersburg Property Fund, Russo-British Chamber of Commerce, and Delovaya Rossiya, a Russian national charity, whilst the Vedomosti newspaper was the event’s media partner.

From May 28 to 30, 2010 Saint Petersburg hosted the White Nights International Legal Forum organised by LegalStudies.RU and sponsored by EPAM.
On May 26-28, 2010 a Russian youth forum called My Legislative Initiative took place under the aegis of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and a Russia wide non-profit organisation– Integration, National System of Developing Science, Arts and Innovations by Russian Youths. The forum was attended by Nikita Gurin, a lawyer at EPAM.
On May 21, 2010 Moscow hosted Intellectual Property in Real Business, the first training conference organized by the Russian Technology Exchange under the auspices of the Intellection Property Committee at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Irina Stepanova, a senior lawyer and head of the intellectual property practice at EPAM, has spoken to the audience.
The Moscow Times organized a conference on M&A trends in 2010 – Ways to Protect Business from Illegal Takeovers. The event was attended by Maxim Rasputin, an EPAM lawyer.
29 April 2010, Tallinn (Estonia) – Over 160 delegated gathered today in the very heart of Tallinn to attend The Baltic Business Law Conference 2010. Speakers at the fifth of RoschierRaidla annual events included Mikhail Kazantsev, Head of M&A Group at EPAM.
13-17 April 2010 – The biennial Spring Meeting of the ABA Section of International Law opened on Tuesday in New York City. Among the world’s leading lawyers invited to speak at the ABA largest seasonal meeting ever was Dimitry Afanasiev, Chairman of EPAM. EPAM was also honored to host the 2010 Spring Meeting Opening Reception at Charlie Palmer’s Metrazur at New York’s Grand Central Terminal.
Vladimir Lobastov, a senior lawyer at EPAM presented at the Alternatives to Dispute Resolution session of the annual seminar hosted by ALFA International, a global network of independent law firms, on 11-13 March 2010 in Palm Desert, California.
4 February 2010, EPAM and HKEx hosted a joint IPO seminar in conjunction with Ronald Arculli’s, Chairman of Hong Kong Exchange, visit to Moscow.
Bankruptcy and Insolvency. Financial Rehabilitation as a New Chapter for Russia Forum, organised by C5, was hosted in Moscow today, where Mikhail Kazantsev, a Senior Lawyer of EPAM, gave a presentation.
On 25 January 2010, Victor Dumler a senior lawyer in the Dispute resolution practice at EPAM’ St Petersburg office, attended a seminar organised by the British –Russian Law Association, where he gave a presentation “You Have an Award, But What’s Next? Enforcing Foreign Arbitration Awards in Russia: Recent Experience.”
The award ceremony for the winners of “Russia’s Best Legal Department 2009” contest was held today in Moscow. The ceremony, sponsored by EPAM, was attended by over 200 top legal professionals in Russia, including the heads of legal departments – the nominees, Advisory Council members, partners from leading Russian and international law firms and public officials.
The first annual conference on Antimonopoly Regulation in Russia was held in Moscow on 30 October 2009 and included keynote presentations by the firm’s Antimonopoly experts Natalia Korosteleva and Evgeny Bolshakov.
