Dimitry Afanasiev, member of the Partners’ Committee of EPAM, participated in a session “Market Trends Developments and New Challenges for Law Firms: 20 Years On” at the 4th Annual IBA Conference Law Firm Management, held in Moscow on 25-26 November 2010.
The conference was attended by over two hundred CEOs of leading law firms from 27 countries around the world. The conference has become one of the most high profile events in the Russian speaking legal services market.
The key sessions of the conference that took place on the 20th anniversary of the Russian-speaking legal services market, focused on the matters directly affecting the legal services market and the success of law firms in the CIS countries.
The participants discussed a wide range of subjects, but agreed on the most important message: the relevance of long overdue and ongoing transformation of the legal services business as a whole and the determination of each law firm to develop and compete in new economic and geopolitical realities.
