Ilya Nikiforov, a managing partner at EPAM moderated the “Practical Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in Disputes Involving Ukraine, Russia and CIS Parties” session at the 1st Ukrainian International Conference on “International Arbitration: Ukraine, Russia and CIS Countries”. The event was organised by the Arbitration Committee and the European Forum of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) and was held in Kiev on the 23rd November 2010.

On 28 October 2010 St Petersburg hosted the thirty-fifth plenary session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly attended by the parliamentary delegations of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly member states. The plenary session of the Assembly adopted the model laws prepared by the standing commissions of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, including The Law On Joint Stock Companies. Dmitry Stepanov, partner at EPAM, was actively engaged in preparing the draft of this document.
