Vera Rikhterman, PhD in Law, Litigation Partner at the Firm, has vast experience in representing Russian and foreign companies in comprehensive litigations in Russian courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Vera specializes in corporate disputes, disputes arising out of contractual relations, disputes arising out of corporate or individual bankruptcies and bringing management bodies to liability, as well as intellectual property disputes. She has been successfully representing clients in comprehensive multi-jurisdictional litigations, including disputes involving foreign parties. She has ensured legal support for litigations in over 30 Russian regions and outside of Russia –including a number of landmark cases. Vera started her career at the Firm in 2006. Andrey Mashkovtsev, M&A and Corporate Law Partner at the Firm, specializes in counselling on M&A, establishing of joint ventures, corporate restructuring and private equity advice, corporate governance and corporate conflicts. He is an expert in asset deals, merger control, foreign investment control and commercial contracts. Andrey’s portfolio exceeds 100 corporate deals. Those include counselling on the deal between UC Rusal, Interros and Millhouse Capital, which puts an end to a long-standing conflict among the shareholders in Norilsk Nickel PJSC (in 2014, the team was awarded The Lawyer – European Corporate Team of the Year), advising on the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 (awarded by The Lawyer European Awards as the European Energy and Infrastructure Deal of the Year), the merger between Danone and Unimilk (noted by IFLR as the Deal of the Year in 2011).
