EPAM will support the IX annual student competition “Model for International Commercial Arbitration”
On 9 and 10 April 2024, the IX annual student competition “Model for International Commercial Arbitration” will take place. The event is co-organised by Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy and the Arbitration Centre at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE).
The competition is intended to promote and stimulate interests in international private law and inform future lawyers about arbitration as an effective method for resolving business disputes.
This year, the competition case will feature a dispute over the execution of international lease agreements amidst sanctions to be examined and resolved under the RUIE Arbitration Centre rules. Valery Eremenko, EPAM Partner and Co-Head of Litigation Practice, Julia Bobrova, Counsel, Litigation Practice, and Valeriya Teslina, Marketing and PR Specialist, will act as the competition arbitrators.
