Alexander Kiselev advises and represents clients in arbitrazh courts and courts of general jurisdiction on a wide range of cases: corporate, bankruptcy, antitrust, administrative disputes, disputes over rights to real estate and intellectual property, as well as disputes on the protection of business reputation. Alexander repeatedly successfully defended the interests of clients before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Arbitrazh Court of the Russian Federation.
Among Alexander's recent projects:
- Defending the directors and a parent company of an international energy holding against a claim by minority shareholders to recover multi-billion dollar losses;
- Challenging acts of the Federal Treasury by demanding the recovery of billions of dollars from principals -- the largest concessionaires in the field of road construction and waste processing;
- Successfully defending the interests of Russia's largest IT company Yandex in an antitrust dispute over abuses by Google Corporation in the market of pre-installed app stores for devices running on the Android operating system.
Alexander joined the Firm in 2013. Prior to that, he was a legal consultant at an international legal firm, where he was involved in a project representing a foreign investor in a large-scale dispute against Russian participants in an investment project under the Kyoto Protocol.
Prior to that, from 2011-2012, Alexander was a lawyer at a Russian law firm.
In 2012, he graduated from the Law School of the National Research University – Higher School of Economics.
Alexander is a member of the Moscow Bar Association.
