On April 1-2 Kursk hosted the first investment and legal forum titled Fields of Russia. The event was organized by LegalStudies.RU and a number of professional associations of lawyers and entrepreneurs. Ekaterina Medeyko, an attorney-at-law and a senior lawyer at EPAM, delivered a report at the Forum.

It is for the first time that Fields of Russia: Investment and Legal Forum was held in the Central Chernozem Belt. The participants included Russian and foreign investors, representatives of federal and regional authorities and specialized organizations assisting agriculture investors such as law firms, lenders, appraisers and others. Apart from reports and discussions, the Forum featured a presentation of investment opportunities in particular regions.

Ekaterina Medeyko delivered a report on “Legal Problems of Foreign Investments in Russia” during the Investment Project from A to Z plenary session where she talked about legal models of investment, important points in structuring investment deals and protection of investment rights under the Russian corporate laws.
