The Russia-centered issue of Global Arbitration Review International Journal listed Ilya Viktorovich Nikiforov, the Managing Partner of the Saint Petersburg office of EPAM, as a Recommended Arbitrator.
Ilya Viktorovich Nikiforov is the leading arbitration lawyer at EPAM. After graduating from the School of Law of Saint Petersburg State University, he studied international law in the US at Case Western Reserve University. He then completed internships with the Law Department of the International Monetary Fund and the Secretariat of the ICC International Arbitration Court before working in the Saint Petersburg office of Gide Loyrette Nouel. He also served as foreign legal counsel at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP in Washington, DC.
Ilya has written numerous articles on international arbitration, including “Evidence in International Commercial Arbitration: a Russian View” and “New Developments in the Legal Framework of International Arbitration in the Russian Federation”, which was included in the Stockholm Arbitration Report.
