Students from MSAL, MGIMO and HSE University Win the All-Russian “PROFI Dictate” Competition

On 30 January 2026, the II All-Russian Student Competition “PROFI Dictate” came to an end. More than 500 law students from Russian universities were admitted to participate, each having scored over 90 points in the IX All-Russian Legal Dictation.

The winners of the competition were students from the law faculties of MSAL, MGIMO and HSE University.

“PROFI Dictate” was held in the traditional online testing format, in which participants were required to answer 35 questions prepared by practising lawyers of EPAM Law within one hour, aiming to achieve the highest possible score.

Students from 30 Russian universities across different regions of the country took part in the competition. The highest number of participants came from MSAL, HSE University and RANEPA.

Fewer than 10% of participants were able to surpass the 70-point threshold this year.

Winners:

1st place – Darya Semenova (90 points)
Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL)

2nd place – Georgiy Leskes (79 points)
MGIMO University

3rd place – Vladimir Vorontsov (74 points)
HSE University

The winners will receive one-off scholarships in the amounts of RUB 250,000, RUB 150,000 and RUB 100,000, respectively.

The “PROFI Dictate” competition, organised by EPAM Law with the support of the Russian Lawyers Association, has been held for the second consecutive year. Its primary objective is to engage with young legal professionals, promote the legal profession, and enhance the professional competencies of future specialists. The competition is held at a nationwide level.
