Nikita Gurin Spoke at Regional Science – The XI International Symposium for Young Scientists

Nikita Gurin, an attorney at EPAM delivered a speech on the subject of “Certain Problems of Creation and Classification of Artificial Land Plots and Alluvial Areas” at The XI International Symposium for Young Scientist.

The event, organised by the Production Forces Research Council, the International Academy for Regional Development and Cooperation in collaboration with the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held in Moscow on 3 November 2010.

The event focused on theoretical issues of spatial science and regional economy, current state and prospects of social and economic development of Russian regions, issues in maritime in Russia, environmental aspects, ways of improving economic legislation and economic relations between constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries. During his speech, Nikita Gurin has also touched upon certain issues of artificial land plots, related problems and possible solutions, and discussed the draft law “On Artificially Created Territories in the Russian Federation and Amendments to Certain Enactments of the Russian Federation” and the amendments to this draft law adopted during the second reading.
