Today, Moscow hosted the Research and Practice Conference “Today’s Global Legal Issues” organized by the Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy. The conference was attended by Natalia Udaltsova, Lawyer, EPAM and Nikita Gurin, Advocate, EPAM.
The students’ research council of the evening department at the Institute of Law, Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy, invited undergraduate and graduate students and young scholars to participate in the inter-university research and practice conference. After the conference, a collection of the best research papers and articles will be published.
Natalia and Nikita spoke at the conference on the topic “Future Property and Property Rights of the Pledger as Collateral (in Light of Recent Initiatives on Amending the Laws on Project Finance Development)”. The authors described problems in developing the concept of mortgages, since amendments to the laws on pledging (mortgaging) future property are possible in the light of project finance development in Russia.
