Grigory Chernyshov moderated the Dispute Resolution: What’s Going on, What to Count on? session at the Second Volga Region Legal Forum

Today Kazan hosted the Second Volga Region Legal Forum, organized by LegalStudies.RU and gratefully supported by the Bar Association of the Republic of Tatarstan, Law Chamber of the Nizhniy Novgorod Region, Bar Association of the Samara Region and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. Grigory Chernyshov, Partner at EPAM, spoke before the delegates of the Forum.

The event brought together not only leading operators of the legal services market in the Volga Region but also leading professionals from all over the Russia

The following matters were discussed at the session:

  • Is it convenient and clear for the business to resolve disputes in arbitration courts? If not, then by what alternative procedures?
  • What needs to be improved and in what way?
  • What is the role of lawyers and their qualifications (both of judges and other legal professionals) in supporting court proceedings?
  • How does business perceive dispute resolution services?
  • What factors, influenced by players of the legal services market, make the justice system more adjusted to supporting a favorable environment for doing business?
