The EPA&P team along with Bonelli Erede Pappalardo advised the Italian company De Cecco in the acquisition of the 1st Pasta Company (1 MK), one of the leading Russian pasta producers.
De Cecco was founded in 1886 and is a global leader in manufacturing and distributing premium high quality pasta which is exported across 95 countries. The 1 MK group acquisition deal is an essential stage in consolidating the company's position in the international market with a special focus on the Russian market which has significant growth potential.
1 MK group is one of the largest pasta manufactures in Russia. It includes 3 producing companies: JSC Extra M in Moscow (existed since 1883), JSC 1st Petersburg Macaroni Factory and the Smolensk Macaroni Factory as well as the distribution company 1st Pasta Company.
