Andrey Porfiriev, a senior lawyer at EPAM, attended the Air Law in Russia: Development and Prospects Conference, held in St Petersburg on 15 October 2010.
The conference was meant to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the law department of St Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation founded in 1995. Hundreds of successful specialists graduated from this university.
The event was attended by leading experts in the air law, representatives of airlines, airports officials, industry associations, law firms, insurance companies, banks and all those interested in the high level of legal culture in the industry.
Andrey Porfiriev made a presentation on “The Issue of Reimbursement by the Government for Losses Incurred by Air Carriage of Persons Entitled to Benefits”.
