Andrey Porfiriev joined official delegation of Russian Industry and Trade Ministry during its working visit to the US
On 6-8 July 2011 a Russian delegation headed by Russian Vice-Minister for Industry and Trade V.Y. Salamatov made a working visit to the United States. Andrey Porfiriev, senior lawyer at EPAM, joined the official visit as part of the Russian delegation.
During the visit, the delegation members took part in meetings with representatives of the Department of Commerce and the Office of the US Trade Representative. The meetings focused on matters of technical regulation in various industry sectors and Russia’s joining the WTO.
EPAM has been closely collaborating with the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry in the area of technical regulation law reforms and participates in drafting technical regulations for the Customs Union.
