EPAM Hosted Business Breakfast on "Legal Regulation of Obligations and Agreements: Business Expectations in Light of Recent Amendments to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation?"

On April 2, 2015 EPAM hosted a business breakfast dedicated to the recent changes in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and their impact on business. The event gathered over 70 representatives of local and foreign companies.

On March 8, 2015 the Russian President signed the Federal Law №42-FZ "On Amendments to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation." The changes are widely affecting Russian business and will come into force starting June 1, 2015. The new law introduces new tools as well as includes approaches previously developed by the judicial practice.

Leading lawyers of the Firm specializing in corporate and finance law discussed the key developments and their impact on business, as well as new possibilities for structuring transactions, and the ways of solving the problems arising in the light of the law.
