YIAG e-news (January 2013)

The Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) half-yearly newsletter reports on YIAG’s recent and future activities and key developments in its members’ jurisdictions. Olga Vishnevskaya, Associate at EPAM, authors the Russia chapter of the newsletter - The extent to which public policy grounds may be invoked for refusal of enforcement of foreign judgments and awards in Russia becomes more clear.

The YIAG is an LCIA sponsored association for practitioners, students and younger members of the arbitration community. YIAG aims to promote the understanding and use of international arbitration law and practice by providing opportunities for its members to exchange views on topical issues in international commercial arbitration. Currently, there are over 4500 members from more than 130 countries.
