Vladimir Lobastov to Speak at Forum on Exporting Belarusian Construction Services: Legal and Procedural Aspects

On 24 May 2013, Minsk will host the inaugural International Industry Forum on Exporting Belarusian Construction Services: Legal and Procedural Aspects. Vladimir Lobastov, Counsel at EPAM, is one of the featured speakers at the event.

Discussion at the Forum will include the following topics:

  •  Mastering the ins and outs of construction work in the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian regulatory environment for importers of construction services.
  •  Adjusting International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) contract templates to bring them into line with Belarusian legislation.
  •  Complying with currency and customs regulations governing the export of construction services.
  •  Providing construction services in the Russian Federation: common problems that arise when working with Russian construction companies, and how to enter and succeed in the Russian market for construction work and services.
  •  Dealing with procedural and legal issues when exporting construction services to European Union countries.

Investment companies, construction investment companies, builders, architecture and design studios, subcontractors, and relevant ministries, agencies, and local government representatives will all take part in the event.

The Professional Interest Educational Centre has partnered with Construction Lawyer (Yurist v stroitelstve) magazine to host this inaugural international industry forum.

Vladimir Lobastov will give a presentation to Forum participants on ‘How to enter and succeed in the Russian market for construction work and services’.
