Partners of EPAM to Attend The 2nd Russian and CIS 'Mergers and Acquisitions' Conference

Dimitry Afanasiev, the Chairman of EPAM and Evgeniy Raschevsky, a Firm’s Partner, are to attend The 2nd ‘Russian and CIS “Mergers and Acquisitions’ Conference which will be held in Moscow on 28-29 October 2010. 

The event, co-presented by the IBA Corporate and M&A Law Committee and the IBA European Regional Forum, will be attended by partners and managing partners of leading Russian and international law firms and associations of attorneys, practicing and in-house lawyers from major international companies whose strategy is based on M&A deals. The event will be focused on full analysis of most important issues in M&A deals in Russia and the CIS, including antitrust matters and protection of government interests.

Dimitry Afanasiev will join the roundtable discussion on ‘Trends in International M&A Deals and Their Impact on Russian and CIS Transactions’. The aim of this session will be to analyse the M&A market in 2010 in the most important jurisdictions, and the trends in M&A deals in the US and European markets, including Russia and the CIS countries. The participants will discuss such matters as reconciliation of transaction terms for strategic investors and private equity funds, amendments in bidding procedures and the impact of the financial crisis on transactional structures.
