Evgeny Raschevsky will speak at the 4th IEL/SEERIL International Oil and Gas Law Conference

On December 5-6, 2013, the 4th IEL/SEERIL International Oil and Gas Law Conference will be held at the Waldorf Hilton, London, England. Partner at EPAM Evgeny Raschevsky to speak at the event.

A conference presented by the Institute for Energy Law of The Center for American and International Law and the Oil and Gas Law Committee and United Kingdom Energy Lawyers’ Group (UKELG) of the International Bar Association’s Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law (SEERIL) and supported by the Institute for Transnational Arbitration.

Since 2008, this conference has become a biennial event attracting attorneys from the United States, Northwest Europe and Africa, and discussing current legal topics from around the world of concern to oil and gas lawyers.

Evgeny Raschevsky will speak during the disputes module of the conference on “Dealing with Corruption Allegations in Oil and Gas Arbitration Disputes”. In his speech Evgeny will provide an overview of most recent cases in hydrocarbons’ industry disputes, a comparative analysis of the approaches of forums at both sides of the Atlantics and in Asia-Pacific region. He will tell the audience about the regulatory/compliance burdens on Oil&Gas international majors in anti-bribery policies in various countries and their implications in dispute resolution practice; issues of the “equality of arms” and opportunities to defend their interests for Oil&Gas international majors in comparing to their local/national competitors.
