EPAM to support the Annual Antitrust Regulation in Russia Conference

Grigory Chernyshov, a partner, and Natalia Korosteleva, a senior lawyer at EPAM will participate at the second annual Antitrust Regulation in Russia conference which will be held in Moscow on 22 October 2010.

The antitrust law regulation plays an important role in the Russian business community and affects almost every aspect of business industry, including areas such as pricing, profitability, and relationships with suppliers, dealers and competitors. The disputes with antitrust authorities are highly topical, whilst the “third antitrust package” proposed for adoption is thoroughly discussed among professionals.

The conference will bring together representatives of legislative, executive, and judiciary authorities as well as leading lawyers and economists to discuss the current antitrust policies and their compliance with best international standards. The participants will also discuss the main outcomes of the “second antitrust package” and proposed legislative amendments, as well as analyse the most high-profile antitrust cases and case law. Matters such as economic analysis and its impact on legislation and on practical application of competition laws will be reviewed during a dedicated session.

Grigory Chernyshov will speak at the Analysis of Court Precedents session, whilst Natalia Korosteleva will present on the subject of Practical Analysis of Dominance Abuse.
