EPAM conducts the workshop Future of Investors in Light of New Legal Position of the Russian Supreme Arbitrazh Court: Risks, Implications, Recommendations
On October 4, 2011, EPAM, Commercial Real Estate magazine and Arendator.ru invite you to the workshop Future of Investors in Light of New Legal Position of the Russian Supreme Arbitrazh Court: Risks, Implications, Recommendations.
The workshop will focus on how investors should respond to the new Resolution of the Russian Arbitrazh Court Presidium No. 54 On Certain Issues of Resolving Disputes arising out of Contracts concerning Real Estate, which will be created or acquired in future dated 11 July 2011.
This resolution has aimed to tackle a number of significant issues related to contracts that regulate investments in the real estate under construction or reconstruction. However, in certain respects, Resolution No. 54 has not only failed to eliminate material problems, but also created new ones. What should investors do? How should one mitigate risks under the existing contracts? What are the tax implications?
