EPAM to hold business discussion on ‘The Russian Civil Code’s New Rules on Legal Entities’

EPAM invites you to take part in a business discussion entitled ‘The Russian Civil Code’s New Rules on Legal Entities’. As of 1 September 2014, an amended version of Chapter 4 of the Russian Civil Code has come into force. The chapter deals with legal entities. It may be said without exaggeration that this is one of the most anticipated and sought-after packages of amendments to the Civil Code. The amendments have addressed the very system of legal entities: some of the organizational and legal forms that proved to be ineffective have been excluded from the Civil Code, while others have acquired new interpretations. Our legislation now has new rules concerning management procedures within legal entities, shareholders’ agreements, reorganization, etc.

The business discussion will take place on 17 October 2014 (Friday), from 10:00 to 12:30, at the Firm’s St. Petersburg office (24 Nevsky Prospekt, 4th floor).

Speakers:

  • Ivan Smirnov, Managing Partner of the St. Petersburg office of EPAM
  • Elena Agaeva, Head of M&A and Corporate Practice at the St. Petersburg office of EPAM
  • Sergey Korolyov, Senior Associate in the Litigation Practice at the St. Petersburg Law Office of EPAM
