VII professional conference entitled “Employment Law: 2013 Topical Issues and Best Practices” will be held in Moscow on November 21-22, 2013. Anna Ivanova, Head of the Employment Law Practice at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners, is to attend the event.
The annual conference will cover employment relationship issues, legislative amendments, litigation and best practice.
2013 key issues are the following:
- adoption of the telecommuting law: what is important for employers and the first implementation practice;
- a bill banning outstaffing: who will win;
- a talk-show with trade union movement representatives: an outside perspective;
- a discussion with the judicial authorities on the subtleties of employee dismissal.
At the conference the employment law issues will be covered by company representatives from the following industries: the FMCG, the drug industry, trade enterprises, telecommunications industry and the fuel and energy sector.
On the second conference day Anna Ivanova is to present a report entitled “Is the Parachute Golden? Payments to Top-Managers Upon Employment Termination”.
