EPAM Sponsored the Russian Commercial Law Week 2010 in London, UK

EPAM sponsored the Russian Commercial Law Week 2010, which was held in London on 15 – 19 November 2010.

The event, organized by English-Russian Law Association, tends to continue the legacy of the first Russian Law Week held several years ago, and aims to ensure the understanding, trust and cooperation between the English and Russian legal systems.

The Russian Commercial Law Week included a conference and a number of workshops providing an opportunity for the participants to discuss the most pressing matters for the Russian and International law communities, including issues in corporate law, arbitration practice, intellectual property law and insurance law, among other areas of legislation.

The key speaker of the opening conference, which was also attended by Alexander Konovalov, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, as well as other Russian judges and academics, was Anton Ivanov, Chairman of the RF Supreme Arbitrazh Court. The conference was focused on the issues of Russian commercial law development and Russian court precedents.
