The first annual conference on Antimonopoly Regulation in Russia was held in Moscow on 30 October 2009 and included keynote presentations by the firm’s Antimonopoly experts Natalia Korosteleva and Evgeny Bolshakov.
The key topics of the Conference were the influence of government’s antimonopoly policy on business development, relations between companies and antimonopoly authorities, and obstacles in regulating market abuse. Particular focus was on the 2009 legislation and the “second antimonopoly package”.
Natalia Korosteleva, a senior lawyer at EPAM gave a presentation on Liberalisation of Antimonopoly Regulation of Vertical Relations, while Evgeny Bolshakov, also a lawyer at EPAM participated in the session on Research of Legal Precedents.
