On September 26-27, 2005, on the invitation of the leadership of the State Duma Economic Policy Committee, Dmitry Lavrov and Taras Rabko, lawyers of EPAM Law and members of the Advisory Panel on Antitrust Legislation in Russia, participated in the conference “Competition in Russia” devoted to the antimonopoly bill currently being drafted in Russia.
The conference was attended by the leadership of the Russian State Duma, Federal Antimonopoly Service, and other governmental institutions, as well as Russian monopolies, such as Russian Railways, RAO UES of Russia and Gazprom.
At the conference Dmitry Lavrov and Taras Rabko delivered reports dealing with various aspects of the antimonopoly bill which they are drafting as members of the Advisory Panel on Antitrust Legislation in Russia.
