Sergey Grebenyuk speaks at Round Table on Responsibility for Tax Related Offences
The European Business Association has successfully held a Round Table on Responsibility for Tax Related Offences due to the introduction of the Law of Ukraine No. 4025 on Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (regarding humanisation of responsibility for violations in the sector of economic activity). The meeting was a joint initiative of the EBA Tax and Customs Committees and brought together over seventy representatives of EBA member companies.
The guest speaker Sergey Grebenyuk, Attorney and Senior Associate at EPAM law firm, made a presentation introducing novelties of the law in question and emphasised some of its controversial points. Particularly, he admitted that bail became the major and widest used preventive measure due to the new regulation.
