EPAM Ukraine to support the annual conference “Kyiv Arbitration Days 2014: Think Big!”

On 6-7 November, 2014, the Annual Conference “Kyiv Arbitration Days 2014: Think Big!”, organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA), will be held in Kyiv. EPAM Ukraine will be the general partner of the conference. Partners Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi and Ilona Zekely will participate in the event.

For two days, leading experts from around the world will discuss the problems and aspects of international arbitration in Ukraine and CIS countries.

The participants will discuss the following topics: 

• States and state entities in arbitration;
• Multiple parties, multiple contracts and consolidation; 
• M&A disputes;
• Corruption in arbitration;
• Investment treaties – possibilities and weaknesses;
• Law of the sea: arbitration and dispute resolution under UNCLOS;
• Sanctions and judicial proceedings in third states;
• EU association agreements/integration.

Leading professionals in commercial arbitration and dispute resolution from Ukraine, the CIS and Europe, arbitrators, state officials and lawyers practicing commercial arbitration will attend the conference. 

Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi, Partner of International Arbitration and Cross-Border Litigation Practice of EPAM Ukraine, will moderate the session “M&A disputes”. Partner Ilona Zekely, Counsel Dmytro Marchukov, Associates Ksenia Koryukalova and Oleksandr Volkov will participate in the event.
