EPAM, the largest CIS law firm, has been officially registered as National Administrator of 2013 Phillip Jessup Moot Court Competition for Belarus,  for the fourth year in a row, by the International Law Students Association (ILSA) as part of our initiative to support the development of legal education. Administered globally by ILSA, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the world's largest moot court competition, with participants from over 550 law schools in more than 80 countries. The competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).The 2013 Jessup compromis is focusing on a hypothetical case involving among others the factual and legal consequences of climate change on statehood, migration, and foreign sovereign lending   officially.

3 teams participate in the Belarusian National Rounds this year. The winning team of the National Rounds will take part in the International Rounds taking place in March2013 inWashington,D.C.(USA).

Many prominent lawyers and academics will act as judges in oral and written rounds of the competition.
