Dmitry Stepanov to present at Ukrainian Lawyers’ Association Corporate Law Forum
Dmitry Stepanov, a partner at EPAM is to attend the 4th annual Corporate Law Forum, which will be held in Kiev on 5th November 2010.
The main focus of the forum, organized annually by the Ukrainian Lawyers’ Association, will be to discuss and find solutions to the most pressing issues in corporate legislation, share the experience of operating business entities, and corporate governance in government, banking, and investment sectors, where current corporate laws are applicable.
The event is attended by over 100 practicing lawyers, scholars, bankers, insurers, representative of legislative, executive, and judicial authorities every year.
The main focus of the event will be:
- to discuss the Ukrainian law “On Joint Stock Companies” and recent trends in regulation of corporate relations;
- fine-tuning of the Ukrainian bill “On Limited Liability Companies”;
- reviewing precedents of court and out-of-court resolution of corporate disputes.
Dmitry Stepanov will give a presentation on “LLC Law Reforms: The Russian Experience”.
