Roman Zhavner is a Counsel and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at EPAM. He has over 15 years of experience in corporate law, M&A and antitrust, as well as operations management, process improvement and business administration.

Known for his expertise in cross-border corporate transactions, Roman provides strategic advisory services to leading multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals, delivering valuable insights and solutions to complex legal matters.

In addition to his legal practice, Roman is also known for his commitment to enhancing technology and operations within the firm. With a keen understanding of innovative solutions, he streamlines processes, improves efficiency and drives continuous improvement in accordance with industry best practices.

Roman joined the firm in 2011. He is admitted to the Moscow Bar. Prior to joining EPAM, he worked as an associate in an international law firm and as in-house counsel in a large retail company.

He graduated with honors from Siberian Law University and obtained an additional diploma as a certified translator, showcasing his versatility in dealing with international clients. He also holds a master's degree in administrative management from Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
