Igor Schikow specializes in tax law, including various aspects of international taxation, transfer pricing, taxation of financial institutions, including international financial leasing, currency regulation and currency control, as well as in financial law, insurance law and corporate law.

Igor is a Russian certified tax consultant and has extensive experience in supporting cross-border transactions, tax structuring of real estate transactions and tax due diligence. He has managed and participated in a large number of international investment projects and advised multinationals on tax issues related to entering the Russian market.

While working in the largest German bank, both in Germany and in Moscow, Igor has obtained experience and deep knowledge of the banking and financial sector, corporate law and currency regulation and control issues.

Throughout his career, Igor has worked for well-known international law firms and provided tax consulting services to major international corporations. One of these projects included advising a major German manufacturer of cars, motorcycles and engines in connection with establishing of a bank.

Igor is a member of the Chamber of Tax Consultants of the Russian Federation, the International Fiscal Association and the European Fiscal Association (Confédération Fiscale Européenne).

Igor graduated from the faculty of law of the Academic law University at the Institute of State and Law of The Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, in 1999. Since 2008, Igor has been Certified as a tax consultant by the Chamber of Tax Consultants of the Russian Federation. In 2009, Igor graduated from the MBA International Taxation program at the University of Freiburg, Germany.
