On 12 March 2024, EPAM Law hosted a business discussion in Moscow. This event focused on the major aspects of successful IPO preparations and implementation. The inspiration for the discussion was EuroTrans PJSC’s recent IPO, the largest on the Russian market in recent years.

At the end of 2023, EuroTrans PJSC issued additional shares, generating over RUB 13 bn with assistance from EPAM lawyers. Following the IPO, more than 20 thousand individual retail investors became new shareholders in the company. Experts analysed this case for its numerous innovative structural elements. It was noted as the first successful implementation of such elements on the Russian market.

The specifics of OTC structuring and an on-exchange offering were discussed. Additionally, the dialogue covered the dynamics of relations with both retail and institutional investors. Participants shared insights on IPO preparation know-hows.

Another key topic was the practical aspects of enhancing a company’s corporate culture. The importance of creating internal policies that meet existing standards was emphasised. Speaking at the discussion were attorneys from EPAM Law’s Banking & Finance and Capital Markets Practice. The panel included Partner Dmitriy Glazounov, Head of Practice, alongside Counsel Vladimir Goglachev, and Associate Gilyana Haraeva.
