EPAM attorneys successfully defended the interests of Unilin in cassation court. Unilin, part of Mohawk Industries Inc., the world’s largest flooring company had a case against Tarkett Rus, which had violated competition laws by creating obstacles to other flooring manufacturers entering the market.
In May 2022, the FAS Russia issued an injunction to Tarkett Rus to cease practices that violate antimonopoly laws. However, the company did not agree with the decision of the FAS Russia and appealed to the cassation court.
EPAM legal team again proved the legitimacy of the FAS Russia decision in three court instances and overcame the opponents’ attempts to delay any further proceedings.
