EPAM Ukraine criminal team successfully defended the Ukrainian subsidiary of the German producer of plant protection products in criminal proceedings initiated by the Security Service of Ukraine with respect to the alleged smuggling and illegal purchase and transportation of products.
The team analyzed the results of the expert examination of the seized products and proved the lack of credibility of such results.
Subsequently, the criminal proceeding and all charges were dismissed, all seized products were returned. This allowed the client to continue its business activity on the Ukrainian market.
During the project, the team also gained the support of the Business Ombudsman Council and the Embassy of the foreign state.
