CIS LCN invites to meet CIS legal market leaders in London

 

On September 7th in London The Lawyer, leading British legal publication, supported by CIS Leading Counsel Network (LCN) (www.cislcn.com) will welcome the legal market leaders from the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) economic region. The event will offer unique local insight and legal advice on doing business in key jurisdictions across the CIS region.

Speakers will deliver reports covering foreign investment and dealing with local government issues with special focus on M&A market. They will answer questions on how to avoid traps and pitfalls and safeguard investments in Russia and the CIS region. The discussion will also cover latest developments in the legal and business environment in the region.

Panel includes:

  • Dimitry Afanasiev, member of the Partners’ Committee, EPAM (Russia),
  • Trevor Barton (Chair), Member of RBCC Board Russo-British Chamber of Commerce (United Kingdom),
  • Irina Paliashvili, President & Senior Counsel, RULG - Ukrainian Legal Group (Ukraine),

  • Tatyana V. Suleyeva, Partner, Aequitas (Kazakhstan).

Managing partners of other CIS LCN member-firms (including Olga Chentsova, Managing Partner, Aequitas (Kazakhstan); Tatiana Emelianova, Vlasova Mikhel & Partners (Belarus); Aicholpon Jorupbekova, Partner, Kalikova & Associates (Kyrgyzstan); Vladimir Dolzhikov, Managing Partner, ACT (Turkmenistan)) will actively participate in the discussion and will be available to answer questions on their jurisdictions.

The audience will include leading in-house counsel and representatives from UK and international law firms with an interest in this vital economic region.
