Taras Kyslyy to Speak at the UBA Discussion “Software Use Under Global Licenses”
On 21 September, 2016, the Discussion “Software use under global licenses”, organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) Committee on Telecom, IT & Internet Law and Committee on IP Law & Advertisement, will be held in Kyiv. Taras Kyslyy, Counsel, Head of Intellectual Property/TMT Practice at EPAM Ukraine, will speak at the event.
Among discussion topics:
- global license as legal basis for Ukrainian company (subsidiary, licensee contractor) to use software;
- consequences of software use under global license;
- contractual arrangements between the foreign licensee and Ukrainian user (subsidiary or licensee contractor);
- tax aspects of software use by the Ukrainian company.
