The practice

The practice's lawyers are engaged in dealing with a wide range of issues, including: use and protection of natural resources, air pollution, continental shelf development and others. The Firm's experts rely upon their knowledge of environmental and land law and other legislation concerning natural resources, subsoil, forest reserves and continental shelf.

Our experts are also engaged in the drafting of laws aiming to assess any possible business risks and are members of the dedicated task forces. The Firm employs independent accredited experts, authorized to review drafts of regulations and other corruption-related documents.

  • advising on regulatory issues related to the use of natural resources and environmental protection, compliance with environmental quality standards and environmental improvement, and other issues, including trade with emission reduction units (ERU), continental shelf development and etc.;
  • conducting due diligence related to environmental protection and natural resource management compliance;
  • challenging the orders and prescriptions issued by the state bodies supervising the natural resources’ extraction and processing, and also by the state services for environmental control; judicial representation on environmental disputes;
  • advising for developing legal and regulatory frameworks, at all stages, from concept to drafting laws and amendments;
