Viktoriya Podvorchanska to speak at the 7th Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Forum

On 10-11 December, 2014, the 7th Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Forum “Developing a New Action Plan at the Time of Change”, organized by Adam Smith Institute, will be held in Kyiv. Viktoriya Podvorchanska, Head of Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Practice at EPAM Ukraine, will speak at the event.

Among discussion topics:

• Government regulation of the pharmaceutical market: overview and prospects;
• Financing the system for drug provision. Analysis of pilot projects;
• Strategies for further development and crisis management;
• Prospects for developing the medical devices market and practical development strategies;
• What has the signing of an agreement on Association with the European Union done for the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market;
• Competition, implementing growth strategies and portfolio management;

Forum participants will be also presented a showcase of the project “The Vision 2020” - a roadmap to healthcare reform and improvement of investment attractiveness, developed by PwC with support of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and Association of Pharmaceutical Research and Development (APRAD) with contribution of government officials, industry experts and representatives of scientific community.

Viktoriya  will deliver her presentation on the topic: "Reference pricing for medicinal products in action – legal and practical aspects."
