Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners has been nominated for one of the most prestigious awards in the international legal community, The Lawyer European Awards, in two categories: Law Firm of the Year: Russia, Ukraine & the CIS, and European Banking & Finance Deal of the Year.
According to The Lawyer, 2018 has seen “a record number of entries from a large number of firms”. These nominations reconfirm the Firm’s leadership on the CIS legal market, the high standard of its lawyers’ expertise, and the success of its chosen development strategy.
Notably, the Firm is the first nominee from the CIS for the European Banking & Finance Deal of the Year award in all the years it has been presented. In this category, the Firm is competing with international law firms Latham & Watkins, Stephenson Harwood, Arthur Cox, and others.
The Firm has previously won a number of accolades at The Lawyer European Awards. It was crowned European Law Firm of the Year in 2014 and has been voted Law Firm of the Year: Russia, Ukraine & the CIS four times since 2009. Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners was also judged European Corporate Team of the Year in 2014 and won the European Energy and Infrastructure Deal of the Year award in 2015.
The Lawyer is a British magazine of long-standing repute. Every year, The Lawyer European Awards present legal prizes to the best law firms on the European market. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 15 March 2018.
